The LLC Agricultural Enterprise Nibulon transported in August 2018 a record number of cargoes with its own tonnage – 390,000 t, according to the company’s Press Office.
Moreover, the company also transferred in August a record number of agriproduct for export by river fleet – around 300,000 t. “Therefore, some 60% were exported by only river transport”, says the media release.
The Press Office also reminded that from the beginning of the Marketing Year (MY July 2018 – July 2019) the company reached a record volume of the grain export – 965,000 t.
“This spring the company mastered a new threshold having transferred the first million tons of cargoes by the Pivdenny Bug river, thus slackening the motor road Voznesensk – Nova Odesa – Mykolaiv traffic by 41,000 trucks. Besides that, the company showed the best result in the region’s river traffic – 9,620 t per carriage”, continues the media release.
Nibulon founded in 1991 is one of the largest grain market actors of Ukraine. It operates a 5M annual t transshipment terminal of its own in Mykolaiv Sea Port, eleven river terminals on the Dnipro and Pivdenny Bug rivers, a shipping company and a shipbuilding and repair yard. The enterprise exported in 2017-18 MY 4.1M t of grains and vegoils (in 2016-17 MY – 4.65M t).Also, in 2017-18 MY Nibulon carried by inland waterways 2.5M t of cargoes.
