A German container shipping company Hapag-Lloyd is going to dispatch block trains in Ukraine to run from Odessa to Kyiv, Dnipro, and Kharkiv.
As per the company’s information, the trains are to launch from Odessa Port thrice a week. Each block train will include 30 to 45 flat wagons.
Hapag-Lloyd (HQ in Hamburg) is the fifth from the top container line in the world. According to the actual data by Alphaliner, the company controls 7.1% of the global box trade market. The carrier’s active fleet comprises 241 vessels (112 of which fully owned) totally capable of 1,735,574 TEU (1,052,321 TEU). The operator’s priority markets are the Atlantic, North and South Americas.
