The group of companies Agrovista has drawn commercial funding amounted to $10M by an American fund of alternative financing, as reported by Skarb & Statok financial company who played as the transaction’s organiser.
“With this deal, we have continued our successful experience in attracting investments from American partners. This deal is important for maintaining liquidity and trading of the group, as well as additional loading of our river logistics”, commented Pavlo Fesyuk, General Director of Agrovista.
The Agrovista Group owns elevators, processing and transshipment enterprises, including the Svetlovodsk River Terminal (the capacity of one-time grain storage is 94,000 t) and its own shipping company. The company’s own fleet is represented by two pusher tugs and four non-self-propelled barges with the total capacity of about 8,000 t, which allow transporting about 150,000 t of grain annually. The fleet transports grain to the ports of Mykolaiv and Kherson. In 2019, the group transported 115,000 t of cargo by its own fleet.
In September 2020, the shipping company’s fleet was replenished with the Dnipro-AV-01 barge (the lead vessel of the D-6000 project with a maximum carrying capacity of 6,000 t), built by Dunaysudoservice and Dunaysudoremont (both – Izmail).
