In future the terminal is going to reach the full capacity of annual 2.5M t.
The grain terminal Mykolaivsky Kombinat HleboProduktov (MKHP) of the Korean company Posco International plans to tranship 2M t of grains in the current marketing year (MY: July 2021 – June 2022), as reported by MKHP marketing manager Lubomyr Cheban.
“MY 2020-2021 was the first year of our terminal’s work. But it can’t be regarded as an example due to the harvest fall which caused difficulties for most of terminals and traders at the transhipment market. For the whole MY we handled only 1.1M t, i.e. less than 50% of our total capacity. This MY we will try to reach 2M t volume, and further on to achieve our full capacity of 2.5M t a year”, Mr Cheban explained.
He pointed out that iin the current season the terminal started receiving first shipments of wheat on 03 July, and those of barley – on 12 July.
The new clients of the terminal MKHP in this season came the companies Ukrlandfarming, COFCO Agri Resources Ukraine, Allseeds, and Rhinestone Trading. The two companies more wait for agreements to be signed.
