Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine (MIU) has called for applications on the concession tender bidding for assets of the Kherson sea port public stevedore, as informed Minister Kriklii.
On 08 October 2019 the gazette Holos Ukrainy (Voice of Ukraine) announced the start of applications call to bid in the concession tender of the sea port Kherson.
The concession object is the integral property complex to provide complex rendering of services in the sea port of Kherson that comprises the public stevedore’s and USPA (Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority) assets in accordance with the list provided by the grantor as well as the objects to be created (built) purposefully in compliance with the concession agreement provisions. The concession based on the corresponding tender outcomes is granted for 30 (thirty) years.
The application for participation shall be considered within 14 days, so it’s recommended to apply as soon as possible. The deadline for applying and tender biddings submission is coming on 06 December 2019, from that date on till 10 January 2020 changes to the bidding proposals are admitted if any. Then, till 20 January 2020 Tender Committee is going to assess the bidders’ financial proposals, and the final decision of MIU identifying the winner is anticipated in the second half of January 2020 depending on the bids’ quantity and quality”, said Mr Kriklii.
Upon the mentioned, expectedly in early May 2020, MIU is going to get right to signing the agreement with the winner.
Further on, on 18 October 2019 the analogous bidding start for the Olvia port public stevedore’s assets concession tender has been proclaimed. The procedures are the same as above as well as the application term of 14 days, but the concession’s maximum period is extended to 35 years, the biddings submission is confined within 16 December 2019 with the changes if any till 20 January 2020 accordingly.
Tender Committee shall assess the bids from 20 to 30 January and the final decision come in the first half of February, final agreement signing in early May 2020.
