Kherson and Olvia Concession Agreement Wording Approved

On Friday 12 June the Working Group on Kherson Port Concession Agreement has approved its final text, as it was proclaimed by Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Kryklii.

“Kherson Port is a key sea port on the Dnipro having both motor road access and railway connection. We have successfully completed the draft concession agreement and are getting ready for its signing at an early date. Let’s recall that the concession tender winning company Risoil-Kherson is to invest about 300M UAH in the port development. Moreover, more than 18M UAH will be assigned for the local infrastructure”, noted Vladyslav Kryklii.

The same day as the above announced, on 15 June, the Working Group on Olvia Port Concession Agreement had its regular online session and finalised the wording of the corresponding concession agreement.

“The instrument to transfer the Olvia Port public assets into concession is ready for signing. We intend to perform this in presence of the Qatar State official delegation, whose company QTerminals has won the contest. Olvia is a concession project envisaging 3.4Bn UAH of investments in the port development which is going to positively effect on the infrastructure of both Mykolaiv city and the entire country”, further noted Minister.
