Risoil Expanding Terminal Capacity in Chornomorsk

Risoil S.A. has acquired the equity rights of LLC TK Exim Oil in the sea trade port of Chornomorsk thus enlarging its own terminal’s vegoils handling power, as reported by Risoil’s Press Office.

“Enhancements for the liquid bulk terminal: the total edible oils simultaneous storage capacity now embraces 110,000 t; an additional ramp for 14 tank-cars; the total processing capacity of 88 tank-cars per 24 hrs; the workforce replenished by 36 employees”, the report says.

LLC TK Exim Oil leases a liquid bulk hub in the area of Chornomorsk Port which is connected to the oil storage reservoirs of LLC SP Risoil Terminal. A change of pumping equipment to the more productive and modern one is to be provided at the earliest time. It is also intended to fit LLC TK Exim Oil with the automated technology process control system (TPCS) to be integrated in the TPCS of Risoil Terminal.

Generally, the company Risoil plans to invest up to $5M in the new asset within several years.

LLC SP Risoil Terminal operates Berths 1, 3, 5-6, 10-12 of the sea trade port Chornomorsk. The terminal provides edible bulk liquid cargoes since 2001. The grain complex was launched in March 2016. In 2019 the terminal increased its handling 2.9 times as compared with 2018, i.e. by 1.509M t – up to 2.298M t.

Risoil S.A. was established in Geneva (Switzerland). The company’s core business is providing edible oil, bulk and general cargoes logistics in the Black Sea ports, on top of the mentioned SP Risoil Terminal, the company owns the edible oils handling terminal Risoil Yug in Pivdenny Port, LLC Marine Technical Centre, an elevator, and two oil extraction plants, including the one in Bulgaria, and some more assets. Now Risoil is preparing its first, and Ukraine’s first concession agreement on the public assets in Kherson port.
