MIU Talking with Odessa Passenger Sea Terminal Concession Initiator

Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Kryklii has held a meeting focused on realisation of the passenger complex concession project in Odessa Sea Port, as reported by the Press Office of MIU (Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine).

The project’s aim is modernisation of the enterprise’s key assets and the complex’s further development in order to attract new investments and popularisation of the tourist sector in Ukraine.

The meeting participants have discussed the conditions of concession project preparation and heard the intentions of a potential private partner concerning the relevant feasibility study development, as the Press Office pointed out.

It is anticipated that the project of Odessa Port passenger terminal concession will be implemented in the course of 2021 – 2022.

The meeting was held on Friday 26 February, participated by the MIU state secretary and officials, representatives of the port administration, USPA, and others.

In 2020 Acting Head of Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) Oleksandr Golodnytsky declared the preparation of Odessa Sea Port passenger complex’s concession. The latter includes the sea passenger station, berths, a concert-exhibition hall and a hotel complex in its territory.
