LLC EVT Grain (Mykolaiv) operating the grain complex of LLC EuroVneshTorg (EVT) in the specialised sea port Olvia is going to carry out export transhipment of agro products of a global agro trader Louis Dreyfus Company Suisse S.A.
As LLC EVT Grain Press Office reported, the corresponding agreement was signed by the parties in May 2019. The main cargo to be processed at the terminal is corn.

Every condition has been created for this purpose at the sea terminal. In particular, a modern laboratory functions as well as modern equipment, the terminal operates the harbourage and quay of its own. Moreover, the company is able to offer its customers the capacities for 116,000 t of simultaneous storage of products”, commented on the signing of agreement EVT Grain Director Serhii Gunko.
In accordance with the arrangements, EVT Grain undertakes to receive and discharge grain from road and rail transport, to provide for product quality assessment, recording, all necessary formalities etc. The company will also perform in-port forwarding, in particular, documenting of cargo handled via the port, shipments formation, and loading onboard ships.
LLC EVT Grain is a port operator of Olvia sea trade port (Berth 4). The company employs the terminal of LLC EvroVneshTorg specializing on transhipment of grains, beans and oilseeds. Its annual throughput capacity amounts up to 2M t of grain. The terminal handled the first vessel in December 2018.
As of today, the terminal’s construction first phase is completed. It embraces the accomplished operational harbourage, access channel and own quay 280 long with the waterfront depth of 11.5 m enabling to admit Handysize and Panamax class vessels. The storage facilities comprise a floor deposit warehouse for 90,000 t, and four silos of 6.5 t each.
In September 2019 the second phase completion is expected. Another floor storage facility for 90,000 t will be put in operation, upon which the annual capacity is going to reach 3M t, while after the third phase of construction the terminal will achieve 4M t of yearly grain handling capacity.
