The tender to select the concessionaire of Berdiansk port can start no sooner than the end of 2022, as advised by Maritime Sector Reform Senior Project Manager at Reform Support Team (RST), Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine (MIU), Anatoliy Timenko.

“The port of Berdiansk – it was the state initiative. The European delegation assigned us the technical assistance by a company of consultants who developed the pre-feasibility study (pre-FS) for us. We had a great many of meetings and agreements with them, everything has been dragged on. Yet the last version, I believe, we are going to already approve”, Mr Timenko told us on the project realisation progress.

According to him, by the time there was already a private company contacting MIU who wants to develop the FS.
