“The matter is compensation of investments in the port industry of Ukraine, legalisation of unregistered for valid reasons port infrastructure assets both publicly and privately owned”, said V. Kistion.
Vice Prime Minister expressed his confidence that MIU would complete in the nearest time development of new port dues calculation techniques and prepare other by-laws to promote the sea ports development and modernisation, and to further on provide opportunities for the port tariffs reduction.
Mr Kistion also reminded that in 2017 Government took the decision on reduction from the start of 2018 of ports dues rates 20 % down, and on decrease of the obligatory profits share paid to the fisc by the state enterprise Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority from 75 to 50%.
Ukrainian Ports Forum took place in the framework of XVIIth International Trade and Transport Week. The event was held by USPA jointly with Centre of Transport Strategies.
