Odessa Region Administration is looking for investors for Reni Sea Port. Mr. A. Urbanskiy, chairman of the region council, convened a meeting between state enterprise representatives and potential, inter alia, Moldavian investors.
Odessa region council press service reports that the discussion touched the issues of attracting investments for production and infrastructure development and cargo flow increase.
At the meeting, A. Urbanskiy stated, “Reni Sea Port has unique peculiarities, the opportunity to provide both sea and river transportation, including oil and petroleum product transportation. Jointly with perfect geographic location, it facilitates prospects for cargo flow increase, in particular in view of trade with EU member states. But implementation of these projects will be possible only under attracting of investments”.
Today seven entities of the Reni Special Economic Area are engaged in investments at the sea port territory. Under the meeting results, the parties agreed on cooperation.
