Mr. Shirokov, Head of Yuzhnyi Sea Port Authority announced during his press tour on 12.10.2017 that in 2018 Yuzhnyi Sea Port will launch operation water area construction near the new berth No. 10.
Memorandum on terminal and berth No. 10 construction project development was signed between USPA and Komintern Berths Company. The latter is finishing the terminal design and is also designing the berth No. 10. We reckon that berth and terminal construction works will commence next year, while USPA will get engaged in creation of the operation water area, in accordance with the Memorandum. M. Shirokov stated such facts in his answer to the question devoted to plans for 2018.
Note: In April USPA approved the Yuzhnyi Sae Port development plan till 2038. According to this plan, “Komintern Berths” company intends to erect petroleum product, grain, general cargo and vegetable oil handling terminals and new berth
