В связи с разливом на борту груза из одного из контейнеров (кислота) судно вынуждено было изменить маршрут и проследовать в порт, который проявил готовность принять судно для очистки (Сингапур). В настоящее время судно готовится к выгрузке части контейнеров и клининговым операциям.

This is to provide a further update.
We are pleased to advise that having arrived at Singapore and following an inspection by the
local port authorities the vessel has been allowed to berth. The authorities have made clear that
they are permitting the vessel’s berthing so that ’emergency salvage assistance’ can be
provided. Very strict conditions have had to be met to get the vessel berthed.
We would ask you to recognise that it has taken a lot of effort to reach this situation. We do not
want to do anything to jeopardise this. The authorities have made very clear to us that the salvage
work must be conducted as per the agreed plan and that there must be no unnecessary
intervention from any party.
Accordingly we consider it is necessary now advise you that you are kindly requested not to
intervene in the Singapore operation and are requested not to contact Singapore authorities for
example to request cargo transhipment work. This will jeopardise the operation. Equally the
Singapore authorities have limited space at the decontamination facility, it is not possible
therefore for us to permit or arrange any container/cargo surveys during the decontamination
process. Cargo Surveys will be arranged at the disport should you find after delivery that your
cargo is affected.
The preparatory work is now underway and the full decontamination will begin on 18 June. We
will advise as soon as possible of revised sailing schedules once the vessel cleaning and reloading
is complete.
